Freeze time. If you can basically control time like that, seeing the future kind of becomes irrelevant.

I think I would rather just be attracted to her sexually and on a purely physical level than completely forget her. I will at least show up as a "true" fan statistically!

Definitely the crappy house, because it's not like you have to stay in the house all day or something. Plus if you lived in the mansion, what if you got hurt? The nearest town is 100 miles away and it might not even have sufficient medical facilities. Also deserts are crappy and bad and.. stuff.
