Well, look at it this way. If you're raising the AVERAGE intelligence and empathy of humanity, that means you raise everyone's proportionately, right? So today's dumb people become smart people, and today's smart people become REALLY smart people.

I would make all electronic technology disappear and make things much simpler. Then much of the worlds enviromental issues. Also I would eliminate peoples selfishness so that they care about society not themselves.

Bending or altering reality carries consequences which I am not capable of comprehending. For example, several of the otherwise honorable attempts at doing good posted in this thread can have a rather severe side affect. It strips our fellow citizens of free will. It usurps our ability to make our own decisions. Our "reality altering" action becomes the catalyst for a domino effect of consequences that can spiral down paths a thousand times worse than reality itself.
