Quick question guys. I don't post picture very often and I would like to know how your pictures are posted so nicely? (I.e. without any links or folders to open.)

You have to wrap the link in img brackets... The best way to see it (and what I used to do) is to 'quote' a message that has the pictures displayed the way you'd like to do it, as if you are going to reply to it. Then you can see how the posting is formatted and imitate it yourself. Basically, you have to surround your image link with IMG and /IMG codes but those codes are inside [] brackets. Much like the way quotes are surrounded. Then be sure to preview the post to see how it's going to come out. I hope you are able to decipher what I've written. Good luck!

I also like to use this button:


It does what Ray said for you. It opens a dialogue box that asks you for the URL of your image, and once you paste it and press Ok, it wraps your link in the IMG brackets.

What I do is upload my pictures to image shack which if you don't upload many, doesn't cost a thing. Once I upload it to them, I click on "Embed", then "forum", then I copy and paste that.
