Why does my ipod touch even have the option to set the date back to the sixties, let alone do it for me against my wishes?

Hey Doc Smiff:

Middle-aged man talking here:
Those "wall wart" transformers (2" black plastic box thingies) ALWAYS take power, even when the thing they power is turned off. And they normally would be constantly warm (even when the thing they power is turned off), but "hot"? That's another story. Maybe you just need a new transformer?

But of course, if you're not talking about some type of transformer, just a plain, regular plug that's literally hot, well then that's quite unusual. And potentially dangerous. Put on oven mitts, unplug that thing, and get it repaired or throw it away!

...And change your furnace filters regularly, keep your tire pressure up to the recommended level, and always keep your socks in the fridge or freezer. Then you only have to wash them once a year.

- Losing the clip that holds the solenoid together in your paintball marker.

- Having to pay to replace said clip, because you can't find it in your sea of shag carpet

- The only place to get said clip, is directly from the manufacturer

- Said manufacturer is in England

- Having to pay 300% the cost of the clip (which is about a quarter the size of your pinky nail) just to ship the damn thing here

I've generally called any plug that goes into the outlet, and doesn't go directly into the device an adapter; printer power wires, xbox power, etc

but I digress

-----------

- When people digress and either 1) they spend more than 7.1 seconds on it or 2) it's not an interesting digression if it exceeds the time limit

- How I basically paid 23 bucks for two staple-like objects

- How I just realized I have to memorize all the African countries, and their locations, for the test tomorrow.

- How I just realized I shot three pods of good quality paint in my backyard, when I had an entire case of shit paint sitting in my car

- not being able to decide whether to under or over bore

- it being 12:40am and I have a decent amount of homework to do

- Staying home almost this entire week. Sleeping like 50 hours in the last three days. Still feel like crap.

- that powdery "peanut butter" crap in reeses cups

Adapters/transformers, tomaytoes, tomahtoes.... Hey, would you believe that here in Wis., we have different names for everything? Hot dogs are called "brats", water fountains are "bubblers", P.O.S. A-holes are called "the governor", and that Michael Bay's big robot movie was called "Adapters"?

(Okay, maybe not totally true, but, uh... hey, Packers won the Super Bowl !)
