I wonder what would Alizee think if she was browsing AA and saw this post...

Damn, Zeerre! I was about to get dressed and hop in my car and drive to LA! I live here in San Diego and on vacation right now.

It's probably one of her Mexican fans who did that. We know the biggest concentration of Mexican-American population is in LA and we know that Alizee is popular with our Mexican friends.

I hope it's Wal-Mart or some other big store so our Alizee can be well- compensated.

Yes, for those who don't know, it is illegal to use somebody's image for commercial purposes without that person's consent. They could get away with it in other countries due to lack of enforcement there. Alizee was actually asked about it (dentists using her image) and I think she was okay with it because it helped promote her albums and keep her on public's minds, plus she probably thought it wasn't worth her time and money going after these small time businesses.

We have to be careful about this. It could be one of her fans with good intentions who just wanted to promote her here. Or maybe Scruffy or MYGOGT could have been to LA without telling us!

I just wish whoever did it would put her name on the sign.

@ Zeerre: I think it'll be better if you have a sticker (like the ones they used in Mexico) instead of a permanent marker. At least, a sticker can be removed easily if they catches you and they will as all big stores have security cameras! But, I'd tell them: "Hey, I know you guys are using her image ILLEGALLY! So, let's make a deal."

You should also make them air on TV an unveiling of the statue to promote her more

Well, I really don't know. It was late 2009 when it popped up on some random thread. So I took it and we were considered a secret clan hahaha. But yah I just named everyone haha. And as you can see Fall has a nice fedora and Ben has his orange wig
