You may be right about not hearing from Alizee for a while. Greg has to keep the studio going so he will probably post regularly. Annily might keep us entertained this summer. What I wouldn't like to see is Alizee disappearing for two years again. If the dance studio is her ultimate goal then there might not be anything beyond that. If she still wants to sing, she wouldn't survive another long hiatus.

While trying to find Alizee's mother's name, I came across the following on Wikipedia: "One of the most controversial female vocalists of the 21st century..." What? You've got to be kidding. When discussing pop stars and controversy, there is a humungous choice of controversial female singers to choose from starting with Madonna. So how can Alizee be considered controversial, let alone the "most controversial?" What has Alizee done that tops Myley Cyrus swinging naked on a wrecking ball or Lisa "Left Eye" burning down her boyfriend's multimillion dollar house because he had been unfaithful to her?

Because in this current climate of global madness (especially among the "celebrities"), Alizee is a breath of fresh air. She knows what to talk about publicly and what to omit. Solid core values. There are no nudes of her. She shoots guns. Heck, she might even be a climate change denier. So the media might labels her as a crazy. If that's crazy, I'm in.

Very interesting subject.....Alizée vs Miley, vs Madonna and I don't know where to start and I don't pretend to know the answers but I'm just offering some opinions and observations here.

With Miley..... twerking....sticking her tongue out in a lewd way. I have to consider this low class, but I have to opinion that this was the environment in which she was brought up in. It's a celebrity environment and she's a product of that. Incredibly talented, but a person with no values imo.

Madonna, brought up a Catholic and seemingly rebelling against that. She has an album like Erotica with a song like 'Deeper and Deeper' and it's not clear if she was talking about a man/woman relationship, or a man/man relationship. She also said she wants to blow up the White house.

Alizée with songs like Moi Lolita, which was about a young girl who is promiscuous and J'en ai marre which quite frankly is very sexual too! So what is the difference between the three?

I have to think that Miley and Madonna, were portraying a life style they believed in, where Alizee, was just playing a role. What Madonna and Miley portray is an actual part of their lives and it was something many people find quite frankly disgusting.

Sex is a part of our lives. Alizee portrayed it in a beautiful and incredibly sexy way. Miley portrayed it in my opinion a low life way and Madonna portrayed it in a way she believed is right, which is far from what I believe is right and she tries to convince the world that her views are right where again, Alizée is just playing a role. She doesn't try to change the world with what she does.

Where being normal seems to be abnormal? Something like that. Alizee is probably the sanest celebrity I have known. I most likely have seen a video of every interview she has done and read every article about her. I don't recall her ever saying a negative word about anybody else or talk about topics that are controversial.

I found what you are referring to in Wikipedia. It said the source was "Media" so it could be anything. From what I have seen, the French tabloids are awful, worse than any of the US tabloids.

I recall one instance where Alizee broke character and stated that she had met Ariana Grande at a party or some other social event and found her to be vulgar.

The statement took me by surprise on two accounts: 1. I never heard Alizee criticize anyone before, and 2. I didn't think this was a good idea for her to go public with. Making enemies unnecessarily can come back and bite her. Ariana is a powerful person in the business and could influence events against Alizee.

I am not a fan of Ariana, but I think she is very talented. Having said that, I'm pretty sure Alizee is right, Ariana is vulgar.

Ugh. Watching those videos just confirms why I ignore pop stars for decades, except for Alizee. Alizee once said she wasn't going to get caught in the "vulgarity trap." That was really nice to hear.

Well I missed that comment about Ariana, but she did say the truth and not just give her opinion. Sometimes it is best to call somebody out on their behavior though.

I love that “pic” of Jon Snow with his absolute most favorite “fan”. Just a sweet, sweet boy...

Absolutely adore that puppy, and keep thinking to myself, “hmm, I’ve got to get one”, and then I think of the bi-weekly “3 hour grooming job” it would take to keep him in “show coat”. and that takes care of that thought pretty darn fast. You betcha...

Now, Alizée also posted a Jon Snow “birthday pic” on her IG page “alizeeofficiel”: “Happy birthday to my King in the north �� #jonsnow #3ans #samoyed”.



Said it before, will probably say it a million times more, what a sweet pretty boy, with such a wonderful temperament…

Pictures like that are just good for the “heart”, and, the “soul”…

Watching those videos just confirms why I switched to Alizee. Perhaps this is why Alizee never played the USA. She didn't want to jump into the toilet with these people. Endless bruised egos and vulgar insecurities.
