It's a good thing that I can read that text before the performances so I know what she is saying Lol.

But really, awesome video! Merci for posting . I really hope that she does start to do more live performances and concerts because I really enjoy watching/listening to these. Live performances just get so much more respect from me for an artist as well.

OH OH OOOH she sounds (and looks! ) soooo hot in the Dis-Lui Toi Que Je T'Aime video..... I think I'll go so far as to say I like this performance more than any track on UEDS (not because they're bad!) but I just faaar prefer this sort of music to electropop.

And it's my favourite Vanessa song.

Also, she seems to be wearing so much less makeup than usual in this video... AND LOOKS AMAZING!!!!!

Ohh this is easily my favourite performance from the Psych and UEDS era combined.... makes me really really hope she comes back with another album because it would be such a sad waste of talent if she doesn't.

Haha all true!

I REALLY get the feeling that Dis-lui toi is the sort of song she deserves to sing. I mean UEDS isn't bad..... this performance has just made me realise how much better her voice is suited to this kind of song as opposed to electropop. I really think she should do this one when she tours in 2011, it's utterly perfect for her.

I feel that she was off-pitch quite a bit in the first song of that video just posted by Mon Maquis(I think the first song is Dis-lui-toi...eh i dunno). But either way, she proved to us that she DEFINITELY has those pipes that we have always heard from her. But yah La Javainise is also one that suits her amazingly well.

SHE SINGS PERFECTLY IN LA JAIVANISE HERE:

Possibly my favorite Alizee video right there I just started admiring it about a month ago and have watched it a billion times since...

Hm you think so? I thought she was bang on (but then again, I know practically nothing about the technicalities of music)... compare it with the original by Vanessa here
They have very similar voices, which is why I think the song suits Alizée so well.

That's another truly magnificent performance, and the same goes for that - far prefer it to the electropop.

I agree with Aaronius that the first song is a bit pitchy here and there, but not a bad performance. Live singing in general is often a little rough around the edges for many artists. All in all, I think she sounds really good, just maybe a tad rusty, like she hasn't been singing much recently, which stands to reason since she has not been performing regularly. Singing everyday would quickly smooth out those little rough edges. Practice, practice practice...

And I agree that these songs suit her voice very well. I like UEdS, but I do think that there are other styles of music that would be better suited to Alizée and her voice. But I give her a lot of credit for trying something different.

Yes! I guess I have a "musician's ear" But yah if she practiced more, it would defintely smooth out the pitch problems. She was very rusty at the UEDS Launch Party and I almost felt like turning off the video Practice is definitely something she needs to do

Because you can tell if a singer is good if they have a good live voice; cause with audio software nowadays, anyone can be made into a good singer on an album.

An example of this is Katy Perry(worst singer ever):

Yes, she should go into the soft pop/rock genre or just keep covering Gainsbourg's songs
