Alizee 5 years from now....

I was in class listening to my Ipod and Moi Lolita came up(shuffle). Then Mademoiselle Juliette. Now that gave me the thought of. Where will Alizee be 5 years from now? Touring in the US? Taking another break

Hopefully, in the money. Meaning, she'll spend some time touring USA or spend time "touristing" USA.

LOL this could be fun.

Five years from now, Alizée will have started her second career, as an actress. Her first movie role will be playing a part in a movie based on one of my novels.

She'll still be singing, too, but not as full-time.

She will be single again, having dumped the J-man after he sought some unauthorized consolation while she was away on a world tour. He'll be living with whoever he sought said consolation from, and doing very well writing music for various artists -- including Alizée, since he will have narrowly escaped being murdered by her and she's cooled down enough since. There will be rumors flying about secret romances between Alizée and several guys, none of them confirmed. Because of all this, there will be no second child by this time.

In the interim, coming to terms with the fact that she is an international sensation and not just a French one, she will have become fluent or nearly so in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, German, and Japanese. (Her French accent when she speaks Japanese will be simply to die for.) RMJ will keep bitching at her to learn Finnish, but since he does so in French and English she has no motivation. She will have obtained her graduation equivalent (whatever they call a GED in France) and be taking university courses on line. She will have gotten another tattoo, in a location that is never displayed publicly but is widely rumored. Her father will have quit his day job and become her chief photographer and bodyguard. And . . .

U.S. President Obama will coordinate a multinational award for her charitable work and the contribution of her music to world peace.

While some of the thoughts of where Alizée will be in 5 years written here are interesting, my hope is that she will be successful enough to have plenty of money, make albums at her leisure and still know that they will sell well, have movie roles that she can select at will, and live in France with her husband and daughter, raising her as she wants too.

Hopefully, by that time, my wife's business will open a plant in Europe and I can go live there to finish out my life in France.
