I highly doubt it. We have guys on the PC that plays Counterstrike:Source, that could do head shots from a mile away. There is no way in hell can a gamepad can match the accuracy of mouse and keyboard.

Since I only play games on consoles I can't see how playing an FPS could be easier using a mouse and keyboard instead of just having one controller in both your hands. I'd probably suck at playing games like Halo COD 4 and CS on the PC

Now, that all depends on the PC. How old it is, if you keep the hardware up to date, if you have the money to do such... My PC can't do what my PS3 can, but that's because of the hardware and low cost.

I've played fps games on pc and console for years, and even though people can get very good with a controller it just doesn't compare to the level of accuracy and quickness that is consistent with a mouse and keyboard. This is why you see auto aim features in console games, and quite often the views are in 3rd person so people are compensated with more awareness to offset what the controller lacks for fps games. Even though they don't list it, alot of console shooters today are TPS - third person shooters.

With a controller you are limited to using your thumbs mostly, and your index fingers for the top buttons....and rarely you will see a guy using his middle fingers for the R2 and L2 buttons like on PS3. With a keyboard you will see guys using all 5 of their fingers at the same time on the entire left side of the keyboard...in addition to gaming mice (mine has 5 extra buttons). In most complex games it comes down to series' of buttons/keys and being able to hold down many different key combinations at once.

The way I look at it is playing a piano with just your thumbs and index fingers compared to using all the fingers on both your hands. A console guy uses his thumbs and index fingers for everything and can only do so much...but watch a pc guy and his hands will look like furious spiders since he can use every finger on both hands.

Plus the mouse is just a quicker and more precise aiming tool, add that with the control advantages above and pc just has a better setup for shooters.

Mouse and keyboard FTW. Mouse is quite superior for precise control because you don't have to let go of the mouse to make it stop moving. PC is best for shooters in my opinion.
