I'm sorry but I hadn't noticed someone had posted a response to one of the questions until today.
Quote:
"2003-06-07 Performance on "Baciana Versila" which is relayed on on Rai 1 (Italian) at 20:50 hours, and she sings "J'ai pas vingt ans" on "Hit Machine" on channel M6 at 10:30 hours. On this performance someone clearly shouts out "Leave Bitch" and this can be heard on the intro before the guitars begin playing." Nobody except Rev ( who didn't reveal the name when he answered) has answered the question of who did Alizée replace as the TV face I guess it is of the Elise crackers (biscuit???) when she went to Japan? I'll give you a hint in that she was from France. The next question is way to easy if you use a computer, but I'm wondering home many people know off the top of their head what the line "Te dijo te amo" meant when she sang Madonna's La Isla Bonita? Spanish speaking members are disqualified from this one. She says it at the 1:07 mark. Last edited by Scruffydog777; 04-07-2015 at 10:45 PM.. |

I finally have a good question for this thread.
For the Moi Lolita remixes vinyl, Alizée engraved a short message on each side of the master disc, which was then pressed onto every final copy. This is what it says on Side A. What does it say on Side B? |

I don't have clue 1, but I have a question.
What do you mean "final" copy? Was it not on every copy? |

Oh, that's what I meant. Every copy sold has this inscribed on it. I just said "final" because in the process of record manufacturing, there are other "copies" made from the master which are then used for pressing, so the vinyl the consumer gets is the "final" copy in the process.

Antares I only have the Gold ML vinyl, it's still sealed and I'm not gonna open it..... do you think it might have those inscriptions on it aswell, or are they only on the remix version?

Yep, I checked and it's on every version I own, including the LEs. A little bit of some clever googling should be able to find the answer, though.

Ding ding ding! We have a winner!
Side A says: "ENCORE LOLO!!," and Side B says "SANS OUBLIER MIMI!!" The translation of Side B means, "Not to mention cute!!" Side A is a little harder to decode, as "lolo" could mean a couple different things. "Lolo" is French slang for "breasts," which doesn't make sense to me in this context, and I have a hard time imagining Alizée inscribing something so outwardly vulgar on the disc. But "lolo" also means "crazy" in Hawaiian, which seems to fit a lot better in this context since the message would say, "Still crazy! Not to mention cute!" I don't know why Alizée would be using a Hawaiian word, though... maybe because she's crazy! |
