Besides, the reason why we seem to brood about UEDs being a "flop" is because we can't SEEM TO FRIGGEN TALK ABOUT IT WITHOUT MASSIVE EXPLOSIONS AND TORNADOS OCCURING HERE.

Perhaps if we could simply discuss it as we please, we would be able to move on.
You're right. But I'm just saying we need to go against the current that Alizee is making that is trying to change us to see her as a matured woman only and not also Lolita. Yes, we should see her mostly as a true artist and not as much of an ultra sexy young woman anymore, but we can still go back and talk about her back then like we used to. It seems like there is no more talk about her old stuff anymore...WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THIS WORLD?!

Well.. maybe. I think I've missed out on a lot of it, when I was gone for about a monthish.

My point is this about UEDs.

There is still a divide between us about whether or not it is a "success". Some think that because Alizée was able to produce an album that was "truly hers" it is, in a sense, a personal victory for her. (If that is the case.. then what the heck was Psychedelices?). While others just accept that fact that it is a commercial failure. I mean, the album has been out for nearly a year and there hasn't been a single major promotion/concert/performance.

The most recent talk about this, which I sadly missed out on, was locked by the time I found it.

Well, there's only so much you can say about her old stuff before the conversation gets redundant.

It´s amazing how many words you have for keeping a single thread on and on, in other forums you´d already been banned since long ago for being spammers , That´s what I like from Aam, the freedom you have of saying anything you like , I wish I was more fluently in english to post frecuently...

It really doesn't matter - I mean, the album's run its course and no amount of discussion is going to really do anything. The whole "WE NEED TO DISCUSS THIS, STAT, YOU GUYS!" thing always baffled me a bit because, well.. what's talking about it going to do? There doesn't need to be a written agreement among us all that UEDS was this, or UEDS was that - it is what it is. We all have varying opinions.

And the only reason fangs were ever bared during the aforementioned discussion was because it was a tense time for everyone involved with irl matters - not because we disagreed with each other. After name-calling came into play because of that, I just lost it. I really kind of wish everyone would stop referencing it as if the one argument indicates that we all are incapable of debating civilly. We were in the wrong place with the wrong people at the wrong time, it was a fluke, nothing more.

But if the need to discuss the album at length still lingers, perhaps we can create a new thread solely for that purpose? I agree that it'd be fun to get everyone's opinion down with no lashing out at one another. Everyone is in a good mood as of late, so it'd be a good time.

I can see why Jalen loves you. (Not that I love you.. it's kind of creepy of me to say that to such youngsters. )

This here is the point that I've been trying to make.
