As for things being recycled, it's almost impossible to be the first one to do or come up with something. I.E. Most of the inventions have been "invented" by thousands of people before they finally make it to the market.

It's not about being the first one to do it, the manner of how you do it is far more important.

Now, I'm not sure in how many ways you can do that heart symbol but here is the important thing that she did it; She could have done a "Hail Satan" symbol as well but that would had been a bit out of character.
