Default Superbus

Hey guys.
We'll I found this french band called Superbus and I wanted to know if you've heard of them.

I can't stop listening to them! They're fricken amazing!

I have a few questions though. Are they still in business? How popular are they? Is Jennifer Ayache a real punk bitch like she sorta seems to be, or is she nice and mature?

Thanks!!

They have a song "Sunshine," which I understand is brand new or close to it.

I downloaded the album Wow, but I didn't order it with the other French CDs I'm waiting for. I don't remember if that was because it was unavailable or I just wanted to limit the amount I was spending, but instead it's on my list of things to get in the future. I haven't looked at anything else of theirs, but I intend to do that too.

Edit:

Their song "Radio Song" is on Guitar Hero III as a bonus track.

I love Superbus as well, especially Jenn Je T'Aime.

About Jenn, I don't really know. However, she does make jokes and laughs, if that helps.

I think a lot of the members on the forums have said they love Superbus aswell, me included. They are a great band and got some really cool songs, not to mention incredibly catchy, I think for the past week I have been singing Lola as I walk trough the halls of school. My brother said to me, "what that, more Alizée stuff?" told him nope Superbus. He knows them from Guitar Hero and just brushed it off with a oh. I haven't read up on them so I can't tell you to much about them, but I do listen to their music.

For quite a while, i had thought that it was pronounced super-bus.

Then I learned that it was superb-us, and have felt a little silly ever since.

Yes, Superbus is awesome

Yes, they are very popular

Yes, they are recent and are still very big

According to someone else on this forum who met Jenn in real life, she's not at all 'punk,' but very mature and very normal - in other words, it's all just an act.

Heh, I thought it was super-bus too :-P The alternative never occured to me.

"Travel the World" is their big current hit in France - it plays over and over again on NRJ, and the music video must have shown up half a dozen times while I was lingering at the Virgin store Monday.

It actually says on Wiki that the group got the inspiration for their name from Latin. In Latin, "superbus" means "proud".

Anyway, thanks MG for bringing this to my attention. I just became a fan too
