A few things wrong with the MJ performance, could use improvement in 3 or 4 departments, but I think in time it could sound great live.
The ML performance was great, though, even if the 2nd guy sounded like a total doof when he came in.

I really enjoyed the ML performance. I thought it was very good, even the two singers she was singing with did a good job, the black guy was better than the other one though. As French Fan said, it's great to hear a new composition for it, kinda reinforces that she is changing from the old Alizée to the new Alizée.
As for the MJ performance, I agree it wasn't perfect. But, I think she just needs time to improve, as it was her first outing after so many years of nothing. So let's just watch while her confidence is renewed and she just keeps getting better and better.

This was a horrible performance, are you guys outta your minds! It was a disaster... a disaster vocally.
 Dancing and singing at same time took it's toll on Alizee, she simply got tired and her voice reflected thatIf this had been on LIVE tv in the united states, think of the blowback from this performance, she would never be allowed to perform again, never...it was second rate at best Mylene!!!!! help our little girl, she needs your help!!!!

I wouldn’t characterize this performance as horrible or a disaster. I think it could have been better and Alizée needs to make a few adjustments and work on a few things and she will be just fine. She has a great voice and she just has to learn how to deliver it to us in a live setting. I love Alizée and want nothing more than for her to have great success. If live singing just isn’t her thing, then I am quite happy with her studio work. I love all her CD’s and will continue to buy them regardless of her live performances. I'm her fan forever...

Sure it wasn't her best performance, but I won't hold it against her. I have some points I would like to make.
She has, no doubt, been practicing MJ for when she goes on tour. Throw it all out. All of that practice is worthless when she now has to perform with another singer, everything changes. How much time did she get to rehearse this? Divide that by 2 (she had to spend some for the ML performance) and then subtract the amount of time she had to spend to get the other girl up to speed. Teaching her the dance moves, etc. I don't think this performance is indicative AT ALL of how she will be when doing her own performance such as in a concert. No doubt the equipment was not set up the greatest either. That stuff takes time and they don't have much on this type of TV show where they hustle one act out right after the other. I have no doubt that Lili will be just great while on tour.
