After finding out about Alizee, then going to check out MF thinking this is the woman who wrote these great songs for Alizee and she was going to be singing to the music of Laurant Boutanant who's music I've praised on many occasions, I expected great things, but her voice was okay to me, but far from one of my favorite voices.

Now there's no doubt she uses sex to sell, but still to achieve what she has achieved in her career took an incredible amount of talent, but she is no Alizee.

We recently had a debate over "how deep is Alizée" ... well, if you could understand MF mesmerizing interviews you'd realize just like I did, that she probably outsmarts most of us here!

As far as Katy Perry; I think she's a beautiful woman. There's a tv ad she's been doing lately around here for a radio station where she looks fantastic. I really enjoy her voice. She seems to be a happy go lucky kind of girl which I really enjoy. But one thing about Alizee that has set her apart for me has been her natural beauty. With Katy you see the shaped eyebrows, usually lots of eye makeup and lipstick. Too Hollywood in my book. Alizee has for the most part stayed away from that. That's why one certain thing bothers me so much.

Why not? Those are the only ones that she has, right? With "5" not selling well, I think they decided to go ahead and release one or both songs that JJG wrote for her in the hopes the public would like it/them and help revive her career.
