Default E3 2011

Has anyone watched this years E3? If so, what are you guys excited about?

Some of the big things I have seen so far, are Halo 4, and the new WiiU system.

I'm excited about the HD re-release of Silent Hill 2 and 3. Two of my favorite games ever!

I'm also excited for Silent Hill: Downpour. It looks like for the first time since SH4, they're going to "do it right". All the newer SH games have lacked the eerie subtlety the originals had.. here's hoping this installment will be more like that.

I guess I'm kinda psyched for Halo 4, and kinda not. I was never really into the Halo series, but I'm still somewhat excited because it's a pretty monumental chapter in a very culturally significant franchise.

I'm sure Zach already has it preordered or something so I'll just play it at his house.

so what is this I hear about having to pay for the Modern Warfare 3 online gaming? That just seems like such a turn off. I personally won't buy it as I don't have an xbox, but my friends do and having to pay for that on top of xbox live isn't cool in any way...

I am excited about all the new Halo's, even if Bungie won't be the one to do them I'll buy them. I hated Reach and ODST and hope that this new company can remake it into the hype that Halo should get around its name.

Is anyone else worried for the gaming industry after E3? It seems like all we saw was sequel, sequel, sequel, sequel to a sequel, prequel, sequel, and so on. And even those all looked the same. I don't know about you guys but I'm starved for creativity, they need to release some original titles instead of reboots and sequels and milking every series to death.

with an exception for battlefield 3 I completely agree. I dont think we will see too many fresh games until the next set of next gen consoles are out which is due any year now... hopefully next E3
