Hey, I didn't chose that, I still hold hope one song will emerge from the rest as something so undeniably great that I can chose it!

I know I've already said that Par les paupières is my favorite song on the album, but I don'r know if I've emphasized just extraordinary this peice of work is... it's fantastic. Even though it's a bit early in the game, but I might have to go out on a limb and say that it's my favorite Alizée song from any album.

I agree.

In another great song - Mon Taxi Driver - I just love how Alizée sings the lines "Tarif féerique/Sons périphériques." What a great play on words.

I haven't voted yet because I want to give it more time, but I like Psychédélices more everytime I hear it. Dunno if that's just because Lili said it was her favorite, but it's becoming a serious contender for mine too. It's a real "grower".

I also still don't know; though L'effet and Lonely list may be doing it for me. But then, what about Lily Town and Décollage? Gah!

I don't doubt it, but then I do think she meant it too. There's a lot to be proud of in this song. It's different, creative, flows. It's got her hubby doing two of the things he loves most (DJing and playing piano), full strings, and some of Jean Fauque's most complex lyrics. It's so good they named the album after it!

What a coinkydink (read: coincidence). I read this while listening to the MySpace album and Psychédélices began playing. The version on MySpace has a glitch in the latter half of the song (I've noticed it on two separate computers; something must've went awry when they uploaded it), but it doesn't detract from the magic of the song at all. A testament to its power, I suppose.

And I've said it before and I'll say it again: Music video. 1930s Chicago. Black and white. Noir. YES.

EDIT: The next song it shuffled to: Décollage. Hardcore foschizzle yo.

For as much praise as we're giving Psychédélices, no one has voted for it yet.
