Well you have to look on the sunny side of this picture; at least she's apparently in Corsica, so she's away from tin tin, but then again she has gotten tatoos in Corsica if I'm not mistaken.

Didn't her camp blame the failure of the concerts in France for Psych on the promotion?

With UEDS, I'm not sure what went on with it before the French media labeled it a flop. It looked like to me that CM (what an unfortunate choice of a band) ran out on her. She never even got the chance to see if it she'd be able to hold a concert in France because apparently, they must not have had any confidence in the new albums chances and they decided they'd be better off going on tour with their own songs, so they abandoned Alizee and in fairness to her, I don't think you can blame her for not promoting it.

Should she now be working on promoting this new album? I'd say not at this point. The first song wasn't a bad song, I don't think it's going to be enough to win over the French people, so I think promoting it would be a waste of time, though as I mentioned before with some tweaking the first song could do well.

I think the next song that is released is going to be the key. I think they have to put the best song or at least a portion of it out there.

Maybe Sony being the experienced company they are, put this first song out there, sure in the hopes that it would succeed, but also to gauge people's reactions, see what their criticisms are, then make any necessary changes to the first as well as other songs.

I'm sure that Sony will be putting out the best song next, then the promoting should begin.

I'm still confident this will be a good album.

I think she doesn't really care how the album does at this point. Deep down I think she knows that she will never have the big fame again, for some reason France just seems to be over her. People that are really focused on their work are in the studio every day for like 12 hours. I just don't think it's important to her anymore.
