Global warming is about politics as much as it is about science and lefty knows this. When a guy just posts equations people are gonna bring up other points. All is fine and dandy until lefty doesn't like what is said or see's Mr. Equation have to step out from under his math umbrella. This thread should have been labeled *math only* from the beginning.

It's messed up when one of the most thought out posts with evidence to back up the info warrants the entire thread to be closed. The small reference to religion/politics is what puts the examples alizeefan used in perspective.

Trust me, I've seen enough threads like this blow up in the past to know how easy it can happen. A friendly reminder before it happens is not a bad thing.

Anyways, my 2 cents. This formula is fine as a starting point, but it does not tell the whole story on the earth’s climate. And to say it does is an oversimplification of the problem. Other sciences need to be considered, such as climatology, for instance. Only then will one be able to make an attempt to understand to what extent humans may be affecting the earth’s climate.
