Nikita is on a distinguished road
Default My trip to France

I was in France 24th June - 8th July,
and I have some pictures to share with you guys

There was a great deal of pictures, but I've tried by best to keep it down..
Also, I am sorry for the weirdness of some pictures, in size. Just klick them twice. Or something.

We started off in Paris, we ended up in somewhere or other with a lot of red, wich made me happy. (See reluctance-cowardice thread xD)
It was a huge park-thingy, and I saw some signs for Le Zenith, so I decided to go and take a look.
And oh my it was enormous, imagine being inside... ah, dreams.
The dude on bottom left (and in most of the other pictures, come to think of it) is my brother, by the way. xD

Everything was so big, and.. red. xD

So there was this huge park, and the had a AWESOME playground, so I became like 5 years old again..
We found a even more awesome slide aswell, wich sadly, was closed for the public..

I don't really know what place this was, but it was wonderful all the same, with loads of interesting things to look at. Wish I'd paid more attention at the time.

We also visited the Louvre, and I guess it was nice and all, but for me it was a little too much.
To much gold, to much people, to much stuff overall.
But then again, it was an amazing building. And I've seen Mona Lisa.. *yaay* Hm.

With me being vegetarian/semi-vegan, it was really hard to find good food, so I ended up eating salad and fries most of the time. *dies*
But one evening, I found this restaurant who served the best food I'd had so far, that felt soooo good.
Note my french dictionary in the second picture. Hrm.

Yeah, and then we came across this weird building.
It was really akward. Loads of people there too. Maybe there was a party going on or something.

We also visited Montmartre, and the cafe wich is featured in Amélie

Montmartre is a beautiful, beautiful place, everyone should go there! ^^

Our last place was Saint Malo, wich was also, wonderful.
Although, our hotel wich was indeed very cheap, was located right by the beach, so we got like two hours sleep everynight cause of all the stuff going on outside.
Charming, anyways.

On our way home we passed Giverny, and had a look at Monets garden.
It was incredibly beautiful, and very inspiring.
Loads of time given to contemplate the clouds journey across the sky.

To finish it all off, random picture of me enjoying my twentysixth salad.

I enjoyed France very much. I loved the culture and all the different people I met. There were, really, all kinds of persons, it was wonderful.
Love also that most people actually seemed to understand my french... success!

Not love all the smokers everyeveryeverywhere, and the lack of vegetarian food.

Sorry for ridiculously long post.

Hugs!
