I know how u feel man, not about spending money on hte concert, but writing something at the heat of hte moment then looking back and be shit i cant belive i wrote that.

Yeah, I had the same thought...but the point's been made elsewhere that the "fan meeting" idea came from the tour promoter last time, not from Lili herself. Nothing to do but wait and see, really...

Such a weird day. The cancellation is disappointing, but not entirely unexpected. The letter, on the other hand, came completely out of nowhere. Good for her. (Too little too late? Maybe, that remains to be seen...but good for her, nonetheless.)

One thing for certain: we live in interesting times, my friends...in the Chinese proverbial sense of the word.

Edit: Apropos of nothing, can I just say how much I dig that she started the letter 'Hello Lilly Town people'? I'm going to start kicking off the commentary tracks that way, I think...

That is not a bad idea but I don't know where she lives. Does anybody have a clue? I know that she just bought a house outside the city but that's about it. Not sure if she still has the apartment.

That's a good question. The apartment is one thing, but if she's already moved to her new house, then I don't have a clue.

Anyone receive word yet about getting money back from Francebillet or Fnac?

And anyone other than Rocket decide if they're still going to Paris or not?

I'm on the wire. There's Mexico in April, but those flights and concert tickets are, ironically, much more expensive.

I'll be adding all essential information to the first post of this thread.

Sucks abouth the concert beig canceled, but at least we have something to look forward to. The new Album. Any clue when its comming out, ? April, or is that just her concert thing in Mexico?

It is kind of a weird bad news/good news day, yeah. Bummed about the concert, excited about the new album, inexplicably jazzed about the handwritten apology/explanation (which I just wish she'd done six months ago...but like Lefty said, who knows what was going on behind the scenes).

I don't in any way begrudge the fans for whom this is the last straw, especially international fans who now have been hosed a second time in the space of six months, because I absolutely get that...but speaking as somebody who hasn't lost money because of this, I'm choosing to view this from a glass-half-full perspective. Your mileage may vary.
