When you're away...

I was wondering what Alizée related stuff you guys carry when you go some place or city.

So many times it has happened that I'm at some new place and suddenly I realize that it would have been good if I had something Alizee related stuff here. For ex - once I was in stadium watching a cricket match and after reaching there I realized that I should have wore Alizee shirt.

Then sometimes when I see some famous buildings, monuments I think I should have brought a poster or cd and I could have taken a picture to post in Alizee in the world thread.

But such idea comes to my mind only when I'm actually at that place without any stuff and not when I'm leaving home.

I'm going to Hyderabad and Bangalore for few days and this time I don't want to miss again. What should I keep during these days? I don't want to carry more than one bag though.

Well a lot of times when I travel, I usually go places during the off season for 2 reasons. I prefer going places when they are not packed. I don't mind if the weather isn't that warm there. It's usually warmer than what I have to work out in. The other reason, being an airline employee, we fly standby, meaning there has to be an empty seat for us to fly and there are more empty seats in the off season.

A lot of times when on vacation after a long day of touring, I'll stop in hotel bar if they have one and have a drink or two before I turn in. Well because I usually go during the off season, there's usually not many people there and I will just happen to have an Alizee dvd on me. I'll ask the waiter/waitress if they could possibly pop this into their dvd player and they usually oblige and I usually get asked a lot of questions by them and other people who drop in.

Now that you mentioned your idea, I wish I had taken pictures on these different occassions. That's something you might want to try. I know from talking to you before that I believe you don't drink. Well you can always have a coke or a non-alcholic beer. All the waiter cares about is the tip.

I hope to carry my lanyard around my neck soon everywhere i go . . . the t-shirt idea i like but tend to only wear at home . Only thing i don't forget is my mp3 player which also has a screen and plays video . A hat would be great as that is something you could wear every day . There are a few sweet hats in the Mexico video and her catalogs but i have yet an opportunity to obtain any .

Whether it be a DVD or cd, it's best to take a back up copy just incase the original gets damaged or lost.. but then I guess you won't be able to post in the Alizée world thread.

Well I once took a framed photo of Alizée to Paris with me along with Gourmandises and MCE but I had extra copies of those.

Hmmm.. decisions, decisions.

I always have Alizée music with me when I'm traveling, but that's about it. I especially like to listen to En Concert when I'm on a road trip.

All I have with me is some Alizee music on my Ipod and a little Alizee advertisement card that Ben and I handed out 4 years ago. My autographed cd that scruffy got me I leave at my NYC home so it does not get messed up in travel.
