An in-game pic:
I think my jaw just hit the floor. Looks almost like real life.

Looking forward to Crysis 2 which will be on the Xbox 360/PS3. Will not look as good as the PC version but it still looks awesome on the consoles. Will probably the best looking game on the consoles when it comes out.

***Breaking News****
I can't believe this is actually happening :

http://pax.gamespot.com/story/627515...es%3Btitle%3B1

Gearbox just announced today that they will be releasing Duke Nukem Forever next year. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I played the game to death in the 90s on the PC when I was a child. I remember very well the classic levels, his smart ass comments, not to mention all the topless strippers. This game has been in development since 1997! That's right you read it right 1997, that means 13 years ago! I was in Elementary school at the time. A lot of you probably were in kindergarten or first grade when they annouced this game in '97. No, other game in the history of the world has taken this long. I thought the game was dead when 3D Realms (the original guys who were working on it) went broke last year and laid of it's staff. But apparently Gearbox took over the project. And I am glad they did. At least now we know it will get released.

I think my jaw just dropped to the floor for the second time. Someone tell me I am dreaming. Never thought I would hear this. After 13 years. I don't what to say. It's like a dream that has finally come through. So many fond memories playing Duke 3D.

I got balls, balls, balls of steel.

Edit:

Looks like Gearbox has acquired the rights to Duke Nukem. Thank goodness! If 3D realms still had it they would have spent another 13 years coming up with the sequal to Duke Nukem Forever. Seriously, how the f**k do you end up spending 13 years making a game?

If anyone is interested, i'm playing a great little free MMORPG at the moment called Fragoria.

You can find details here -

http://www.fragoria.com/

It runs in your browser so no downloads are required and i must admit that i'm really enjoying it.
It was designed in Russia and some of the text is badly translated but you get used to it.
One good thing is that it's suited for single players. You can join Guilds etc. but don't have too.
Give it a go. You'll find me there as Georgia Lass. Do say hello.
