I was in Paris at the time, in a net café with Mark (Backinblack). He logged on to the admin control panel to try and see what was going on. Nearly all of the users were unregistered guests with unique IP addresses. So to this day we still have no idea what happened!

MFI has the peak at the same day, if you haven't noticed. (atleast if I remember right... tho MFI is not responding right now so can't check it out...)

But yeah, no idea what caused that...

And also google trends shows spike at that new year...
