Your preaching to the choir because I pull that all the time in high school and they gave me the same answer...blah blah blah the state want's you to have this. Blah blah blah even in your career days you might need this stuff. Then I proceed to say blah blah blah I am a firefighter and I haven't used math yet. Even in my next job I need to be able to do division and fractions and that's about it. None of this A+C=C to the 3rd power - the sum of wtf ever B is X the square root of 12 + 8= Youpidou1 has given up. College is way different because if you say that the professors just stare at you and then they keep on teaching. I didn't do it but someone else did. After we found out that we had to pay 150$ for a book smaller than the yellow pages.

yeah basically unless your in some forum of engineering like myself or graphic designing, calculus and trigonometry are not necessary
I need at least a B in pre calc. engineering calc. chemistry and physics in order to stay in my engineering major. I am not allowed to fail a single class; and not once is my overall GPA to drop below a 2.5. Its going to be a hard semester
