Sure, the lyrics are banal. And the music is unremarkable. But if you wanted to stick a music video example into a multimedia dictionary entry for Bubblegum Pop, wouldn't Friday fit the bill?

It could have been LOTS worse! What if, instead of riding to school with her friends, Rebecca Black had had her grandparents drive her, as do the two little Dutch girls in the video below?

Whatever be the response for the video, I believe it has managed to be more known video than a better video with better lyrics. At least that's what I observed here.

I would love for the King of All IRL Trolls to come forward, create an even more horrible music video that's thirty times as popular (even going to the point of a national holiday being established and a movie saga based on it) just for the point of trolling people who watch and get all excited about crap just because everyone else does/is

Still haven't watched nor heard it. I think that scores me points for a score of some sort
