Hard Times

My boyfriend just broke up with me. He was a "bad boy", but he had a real sweet side to him. I got him into Al, and he's loved her ever since. But we broke up, and i'm completely finished with bad asses. I need a genuine, sweet sensible guy. He seemed perfect for me, because oddly enough i like my men shorter then me. I always fall for the spanish ones lol. It's so hard getting out of this cycle, i can't stop thinking about him, and i had to write out my feelings somewhere. I want somebody smart, i don't even mind having a long distance relationship, i just need somebody to talk to. This board always seems so friendly, and i almost fell in love when one of the people on here told me to check out the chatbox, i don't remember his name, i should probably thank him. Anyway, i hope this isn't too much, but any advice, and experiences? I think it's fascinating that i'm connecting with people all over.

Sorry to hear about your breakup. Oh and it was probably Fèvier since he's usually the one suggesting the chatbox to people. And I think he's single too - and possibly Latino! Maybe start chatting with him? He seems like a nice guy and I think you two would get along great.

P.S. I commend you for being ok with dating shorter guys. I'm so sick of hearing "I only date guys who are at least 6 feet." Even the little 4'11 women say stuff like that sometimes. Jesus Christ. Everyone knows about racism, sexism, but somehow heightism is ok.

I've never dated anyone "bad" before. I generally go for the sweet ones, haha. But ironically all my breakups have been messy and headache-y. Guess they weren't as sweet as I thought?

I'm sorry to hear this, break ups are never fun.

Take a break from guys for a little while, and find one you think you will really love. One thats very nice to you, helps you with everything he can, and genuinely wants to be with you and won't change. It will take a while to find a guy like that, but when you do it will all be worth it. (That's kinda what I'm tryin to do right now. Cept with girls.)

wow wow wow. what's this? I think she said short, not young. I am 16, (birthday in 2 months! ) and she's 20 according to what her age says.

Yeah I've been through what you've gone through. I was really a sucker for Asian girls( Hmong) to be exact. They are some of the slowest girls ever and they try to dump me before I dump them witch is sorta funny, they'll be like "it's over" then I'll say " what are you talking about I just broke up with you lastnight" haha funny huh? But enough of my stupid story I hope you star feeling better .

I've never heard of any girls who liked shorter guys. It's a first for me. Seeing as I'm 5' 10" it isn't an issue for me, it's just good to know that there are some girls out there who differentiate from the social norm. If only I actually met a girl in person who didn't have a shopping list handy of things a guy HAD to have for her to consider him datable.
