A dilemma

I am faced with a dilemma.

I need to go to the post office.

Doing so means I have to stop listening to Psychédélices, possibly for as much as 30 minutes.

Honestly now, what am I supposed to do about this?

Hmm... I could burn a CD, reducing my non-listening time to perhaps 5 minutes for the whole trip... but that's still 5 minutes!

ARRGGHH.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled reading.

I'm sitting here with a few days off, trying to finish a chapter of my new book, and I'm getting diddly-squat done. So I can definitely relate.

Burn it on to a CD and play it in your car. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.

Hehe, indeed. Sleep is such a waste of time! At least we have dreams.

Finally, I didn't burn a new CD, I settled for the fact that I have an Alizée perpetually in my car's CD player, so even though it wasn't the new stuff, it was still her :-) I ran to my car, glowered at the woman ahead of me in line who wanted to buy 1400 stamps (no, I'm not kidding), and zipped back home.

I'd been planning to get get a haircut today, but I don't know if I can pull myself away... grr!

Haha, exactly. I did finally make myself run to get haircut, for exactly that reason. I was looking a bit like a disaffected 80's refugee with the mop I had, which was of course totally unacceptable :-P It's much better now.

I'm guessing I may actually be able to rest on the plane a bit. It's a nearly 10 hour flight, and I don't know that I'll be able to sleep well the night before, for obvious reasons.
