Alizée Viral Marketing

I've been meaning for a while to do some kind of viral marketing centered around Alizée. For those that don't know what viral marketing means:

1. a direct marketing technique in which a company persuades internet users to forward its publicity material in e-mails (usually by including jokes, games, video clips, etc)

2. a marketing strategy in which conventional media are eschewed in favour of various techniques designed to generate word-of-mouth publicity, in the hope of creating a fad or craze

I just had this idea. But, as usual, I have an idea, but not the tools or the know-how to pursue it. I'm sure most of you have heard of Steven Slater, the flight attendant who "got fed up" (hint, hint) and told all the passengers to shove it, grabbed a couple of beers, opened the emergency door on the plane and slid down to history.

I know we have a lot of creative minds here who have both the tools (video editing software) and the know-how (how to edit) who could use the Taiwanese animation of Steven losing it or any other videos of him, using Alizee's "I'm fed up" video. Maybe use both French and English version to introduce both to the Americans. French is better, but we also need the English so the public could "relate" to it.

This guy is getting viral on the internet so I think we have a chance here. But, we have to move fast as we have a short window of opportunity here. The guy is going to court next month, so we have about as much time to take advantage of it.

Silly idea? Just wanna help out our beloved Alizee here. What do you guys think?

How this is supposed to work: Steven Slater, a JetBlue flight attendant that quitted his job in a quite particular way is making headlines around the country. At the time of writing, his name is number 1 on Google Trends. The more people that search for Steven Slater, the more people that are likely to stumble upon the video I posted above. I'm having a hard time trying to explain this, hopefully this will help clear things up.

I don't know what kind of effect this will have, or if it'll have any effect at all, but I figured I would give it a try.
