What style should the next Album be?
I've seen some really good ideas on what Lilly's next album should be, style-wise. Just thought I'd put up a poll to get your opinion on a few of them.

I'd like to see a mellowed-out version of her Psyche style. She actually does seem to be more mellow these days, so I wouldn't be surprised if she came out with something like that accordingly.

I was seriously thinking about la javanaise, because her voice is just so soothing, It would be a shame if she didn't have a softer song on the new album

WHATEVER SHE DAMN WELL PLEASES

Yes, I've also been leaning towards her doing some softer stuff, as she does it so beautifully.
On the other hand, we have been talking about her wonderful dancing, and I'm thinking I'd love to see her do a fun dance-pop album. I think the choice is obvious. She must do both. (Gwen Stefani, who Alizee is a big fan of, did it!)

I would like to hear some more up-beat songs. Like JPVA, 50/60, those types, mixed with some softer stuff as well, like acoustic stuff.

I love this video of her first performance with Jean-Félix Lalanne at an AIDS benefit. The crowd gets right into it, singing along with her... it's great. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/7WLnGSRC2d0?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7WLnGSRC2d0?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> And obviously, Jean-Félix was quite impressed, because when it came time to do another concert, he invited her back. High praise from a respected artist for someone who some deride as just a "pretty face" <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/oLFrht97qus?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/oLFrht97qus?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> Edit: So, basically Psychedelices. New stuff, but a mix.

I would have to say a good mix to appeal to the wider audience. As long as her voice is showcased along with some dance.
