Here are 2 videos made to celebrate the birth of the compact disc in the early 80's. One of the vids focuses on the prog rock group The Alan Parsons Project, and the other explains the technology behind the medium. Interesting to see videos from when something we grew up with was brand new and exciting.

Yeah, Dire fuckin Straits was one of the first bands to the CD technology with their Brothers in arms.
