Not kicked out.
Anti-fans started an online Suicide Petition against him, saying if it gets enough signers he should kill himself. All over an internet controversy of his past, when he was overworked and made one comment saying, "This country's pretty gay".

So he left, ashamed.
He even made it onto American news.

that's what koreans like to do. when someone gets too successful or too popular, they just can't stand it! they have to dig up some sort of dirt, no matter how old it is and drag the poor bastard down.
