21 year anniversary of Moi... Lolita
21 years since the debut of the song that started it all, not just for Alizée but also many of her fans whether at the time or in the 21 years since.
Over a million sales. Was a sensation on the charts all across Europe. And it's legacy lives on through the hundreds of millions of views on YouTube, covers, remixes, and this time last year with the announcement of the Vinyl copies of her first 2 albums to mark the occasion. The year has gone fast because it feels like the 20th anniversary has just been!
Although I didn't even realize it myself then! So for the first time on the ML anniversary: Congratulations Alizée!

Alizée's Moi... Lolita is the 33rd best-selling single in France ever, with over 1.280.400 units (physical CDs) sold just in France.
Alizée's Moi... Lolita remained in the top 10 for 31 weeks. Just three songs ever managed to stay more weeks in the top 10 than Alizée's Moi... Lolita. Even though YouTube didn't exist until many years after its release, Alizée's Moi... Lolita has reached over 300 million views on YouTube.
