RMJ is on a distinguished road
Default Idéaliser

Full lyrics and my translation on them (the first half based on the old lyrics that I translated long ago).
<TABLE><TD VALIGN="top">

She's alone on the ground
Running on alcohol
The varnish is cracking
Under the idol

Powdered her features
Wrapped in silk
Those who hurts and who
Leaves behind

To idealize
A broken past
Not realize
Who is no longer there

To idealize
Just to assume
That she dared everything
And owned her
One last kiss
One kiss

It's not on march
Through all the sleepless nights
White snow flaunt (1)
Of the archangels

It snows in downtown,
Late seventies
The weather is of the autumn
Without surprise

To idealize
A broken past
Not realize
Who is no longer there

To idealize,
To make a beauty
To return the ring
To take aim

To move without return
The leap into the emptyness
The small club-kid

Doesn't like the day anymore
To idealize
Just to assume

That she dared everything
And owned her
One last kiss

</TD><TD VALIGN="top">
Elle est seule sur le sol
Coulant sous l'alcool
Le vermis se craqueele
Sous l'idole

Se poudrer le faciès
Enrober de soie
Ce qui blesse et qu'on laisse
Derrière soi

Idéaliser,
Un passé brisé
Pas réaliser
Qu'il n'est plus là

Idéaliser
Juste supposer
Qu'elle a tout osé
Et lui poser
Un dernier baiser
Un baiser

Ses pas ont défilé
Dans toutes les nuits blanches
Blanche-neige exhibée
Aux archanges

Il neige sur Downtown,
Fin des seventies
Le temps c'est de l'automne
Sans surprise

Idéaliser
Un passé brisé
Pas realiser
Qu'il n'est plus là

Idéaliser
Se faire une beauté
Retourner la scène
Viser

L'aller sans retour
Le saut dans le vide
La petite club-kid

N'aime plus le jour
Idéaliser
Juste supposer

Qu'elle a tout osé
Et lui poser
Un dernier baiser

(1) Blanche neige means also Snow White. But in the lyrics, it works better when going for literaly meaning. Altho, the lyrics suggest the other meaning, too, that the "Snow White" is this person in the song.

(2) "Le temps" means both "the weather" and "the time". In the lyrics, you have before this line line that's about time, and after you have line that says about weather, too. So it's somewhat double meaning in the song. It can be translated either way, depending how do you think of the other lines around it.
