I don't that the meaning of the phrase has the same impact in France that it does over here, that's probably why they can sing it with smiley faces.

Well, since a few more people seem interested in this, I'll go ahead an edit a longer version of the medley with Alizée and Jenifer singing the lead. Give me a day or so to edit it and then I'll post the link to this thread.

* Note: Oh yes.. MediaFire.com only allows 100Mb uploads so I'll have to break the longer edit into parts. I'll use either WinZip or WinRAR to compress the video file but once all the parts are downloaded you can automatically put it back together again to get the complete video.

That's from Les Enfoirés - La Crise De Nerfs ! and it has been around in most Alizée forums for a while already, although it has been deleted in most because it's a cut from the actual DVD. In any case this is meant to be humorous and not insulting I think, keep in mind that "Les Enfoirés" means "The Jackasses" or “The Imbéciles" or The Stupids" you get the point ;-)

It's not in their language, so I'd imagine not.

Although exactly why it has that impact in English has always somewhat mystified me.

Of course, but it's still funny to see Alizée and the others singing " F...U! " I laugh every time I see it! I've been sending to friends saying, "Hey.. check out this video, it has a special message customized just for you." I can only imagine the shock on their faces.. and listening very closely to see if what they heard is what they actually heard.
