This song is by Lily Allen! She and Gregory Kurtsten wrote it, and it appeared on Lily's last album. In fact, the song is about and dedicated to (a recent president of a country where a lot of this forum's members reside). I'm not saying who that was, but at first they were trying to be demure and clever by calling the song something beginning with a "G", a "W", and a "B". But nothing really fit, so they just took the obvious title from the memorable chorus.

I'm chuckling and calling you great people ninnies only for this reason - last year, when Lili (Alizée) was commenting about Lily (Allen), she said something like how she felt they were comparable. Then Lili added something like "but she has a trashy side that I don't..." And then, a lot of us were all over that comment, basically agreeing that Lily must be pretty trashy, because she had done this song called "F* Y*" -- yes, this very song.

So, the only question remaining is: Were the Enfoirés singing this song just for general rudeness, or specifically in honor of someone bearing the initials "G", "W", and "B"??? Either way, way to go! I mean, ulp, I didn't say that, and I don't condone swearing in any way shape or form, gosh darnit.

The phrase is considered to be very offensive over here. It carries a lot of emotional baggage - a lot of hatred.
