Pandora Radio: Why is Alizeé not on it?

Not sure if this goes here, but seeing as it relates to her I figured I'd post this here.

Does anybody know why Alizeé is not on Pandora Radio? Is it due to the fact that she is a foreign musical artist? (I'm not 100% sure what restrictions Pandora Radio has on out-of-country artists) Or is it because her labeling company will not gives the rights out to Pandora? Or could it be another reason?

Any information would be greatly appreciated

Not really sure, but when I first gave Pandora a try and discovered that they did not have her, I stopped using it and have never been back. I usually listen to last.fm, they have her as well as other foreign artists.

Yeah Last.fm is good for her.

But why would you listen to her on Pandora when you can listen to her CDs?

Whenever I don't have her CD's available and only have my phone that can use the Pandora App

Also I dislike having to manually choose one of her songs because I love them all. I like the randomness of Pandora.

Yeah but doesn't Pandora play songs of a certain artists genre and style? So it's not all Alizee?

Same experience here. Last.fm is the way to go. It's fun discovering new artists with it, and the pictures and biographys are very nice. The fact it's free is nice also, but it's worth the money to make playlists.

Of course, now that you know Pandora doesn't have Alizée, you can dump it.

Or just do what I did, rip all the CD's, En Concert audio, mixes, live performances and cover songs she has ever done to mp3, put it on your phone/music player/computer/car stereo and hit the RANDOM button. Hearing Moi... Lolita, Yuipidoo, Mon Taxi Driver and Eden, Eden back to back is quite enjoyable and gives new appreciation for Lilly's range.

Nope there are plenty of Foreign artists on there. I'd say that she's not on there because no one has tried to get her on there. It's a good tool though as it plays similar artists which is nice for discovering new singers.

Then again if you only want to be a fan of Alizee (or any other artist for that matter) Pandora is not for you.

Alizee was the first thing i looked for on pandora, yelle and lorie are on it though.
