Happy Father's Day ~ Bonne Fête Des Pères 2009
Father's Day and La fête des pères falls on June 21st in 2009. It's origination was that of a daughter organizing a special celebration for her father's birthday. Sonora Smart Dodd of Spokane Washington, organizes the first Father's Day celebration on June 19, her own father's birthday. The mayor of Spokane and the governor of Washington state officially support the event. Dodd's father, a farmer and Civil War veteran had been a single father to six young children after the death of his wife. President Lyndon Johnson proclaims Father's Day to be an official national holiday in 1966 and in 1972 President Richard Nixon signs into law a permanent U.S. Father's Day to be observed on the third Sunday of June. If you're fortunate enough to still have your Father (Père), give him something special don't forget to show him how much you care. Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there !! Yeah happy belated fathers day to all the dads out there and Jeremy as well. Glad I got such a good dad myself, wouldn't change him for anybody else.

I kinda forgot about Father's Day it was my Father's birthday a day before Father's Day too,
Oh well myself and him aren't on good terms anyway. It's odd because my mum's birthday was on Mother's Day this year too
