Are We Prepared?

If Alizée ever comes to our forum and starts comunicating with us. Do we have a welcome prepared just for her, or are we just going to give her our usual welcome and point to our new members thread? Are we going to freeze and not say anything? Maybe we just feel that this will never happen? What do you guys think ???

I do not believe she will ever come here under her own name. She never used to do that, and most likely she won't now. That way, we know that anyone claiming to be her off her own official site is a fraud.

If she has come here under a pseudonym, then of course she was welcomed the same way as every other new member.

I think we should do what we always do, and try to refrain from PM'ing her to death. My biggest concern is that we will not know imediately whether it is her or not, and we might treat her in a way we will later regret. I would rather be safe than sorry and not jump to conclusions. We don't have to be fools, but we can reserve judgement until more facts are on the table.

No need to worry about her coming.

But if she comes we'll make sure she follows the forum rules ! And of course she better to read the FAQ and not ask newbie questiosn that are already answered.

honestly, as much as i dream about it happening, i can't realistically believe she would come on here and communicate with us, i think she would view these forums, but never actually talk back to us... i think this for a few reasons: we don't know if she knows English fluently let alone to type it, there are many many Alizée message boards, y this one? y not Alizée Alliance or Alizée-Fourm... those are more popular, and to open herself up in a message board can have disasterous results... not necessarily damaging, but put yourself in that position - yes you want to connect with fans, but isn't that y you have a website of your own?

Well, again, it depends on whether we're talking about her posting under a pseudonym or using her own name openly. I kind of gathered from the first post that the latter is what we're talking about, and in that case, I just don't think she'd do it, here, there, or anywhere except her own site.

But under a pseudonym -- why not ALL of those boards? She's had plenty of time. I can well remember when my daughters were 1-2 years old. There are times during the day when the kid's occupied or taking a nap, you don't have to do anything, but you can't go anywhere either. You read a book, you watch TV, you listen to music -- you surf the Net. Why not?

thats why theres a good chance that she has visited these fansites at least once or twice. also, she said herself that she surfs the net alot.

about us being prepared? if shes the geniune article, no.

You know I can agree with all of you, I guess I was just fantasyzing. However If I was an artist I would pull a few of these surprises to my loyal fans (but thats just me, or is it)......... Anyways as far as it been disasterous, I disagree. You realize that you can always change you email address, just like she gave Jessica her phone number and then cancelled.

It was an annoyance for Alizée to have to change her cell number, she said that herself... idk if you want to have such annoyances... besides i said can which is vastly different from will, that being said, when you become famous Jess
