It's basically a program to easily share and redistribute anything.
Pictures are there in one big folder courtesy of Plaz and others, I think maybe over 300 or 3000, I don't know.

We all have our specialties, i've uploaded a bunch of K-pop, J-pop, videos and mp3s, and random metal for anyone under the Hub to take and reshare.
Plaz has his own list.
And YOU too can give a little to the Hub (secret so nobody can just take anything from the directory).

I personally have like 1 or 2 thousand pictures that, apparently I can upload to share? eh?

I also have maybe 50 downloaded videos (none of which my mac can seem to play, though I haven't yet tried it on my PC from procrastination) and maybe 30 videos I have for my iPod (I have a program that can rip the video+audio (or just audio) of any youtube video)

Yeah, I still find it rather amazing that Alizée lovers can go for years without getting on any DC++ hubs (there is Plaz's and the main/older one).
You don't have to upload anything, just share your folders and then go look for what you want. The best thing, sorry Plaz, is to go to Alizee-forum.com and look this up and join the other one, or both. The more people there, the easier it is for you to get what you want if someone else has it. Either way, there was a time when there were even more people and this software has the ability to download from whatever source is available and from multiple sources simultaneously. It's like bittorrent except that it actually works well and you don't have to create a share for each item.
There's no way in hell you are going to get certain things unless you go to these hubs. No one chronicles sharing-site links to everything and bittorrent... is good because more people will find what you are sharing, but getting stuff is so much better on "the hub". Only a fool who doesn't really want access to everything Alizée will not use that. How about that?

I'm actually pretty tech savvy, and yet I've still never been able to get the hang of the whole DC++ thing. Is there a guide for, like, really, really stupid people, or Canadians?

I prefer the legal way which is much more faster and reliable. Just google the name of the video and type in "rapidshare" after it. You'll get any vid you want. Cuz not all alizee vids are on the Lilipad. But hey if you want a good database then DC++ works okay.But takes forever to download
