Well ok. It will certainly come up at least, what people think of the songs and how they prefer them. As for the chart, good lord! It looks like some kind of million dollar game show score chart. Six days, 15 rounds, only one will walk away a winner!
I think Alizée would be impressed just by the chart.

It's too bad Ventrilo doesn't have an integrated voting function or something. But if you include a section with everyone's name in your spread sheet and just do a 1 or 0 for each vote, you can automate everything except vote entry.

I think we should combine the english ver. with the original and then maybe have a final vote between the two if the winner track is "multi-languagual". But then again if you are planning to make some kind of ranking list in the end with every song present, that would mess things up.
Statistics can be very missleading and often fundamentally evil.


Are we going to have some kind of discussion in this session or just simply hear everyones votes?
In that case, exactly what are we going to discuss and how?
Like everyone gets the word for each vote or something like that?

What he said. Personally, I dont like any of the english versions and they are just going to make this take too long. It will be easier just doing the french versions. Mabye someone could do a poll and we could all vote on it.

Yeah, I say we should only include them if the songs with English versions make it to the end or almost to the end.

Revised the brackets without the English songs included, and the result is much more reasonable: 11 rounds with 5 matchups per round. Still a long haul, if Gourmandises is any indication, but significantly less so.

I'm prepared to go either way, but I really think leaving the English versions out is the way to go, guys.

This seems the most logical, the songs are essentially the same or were made to be, so just pair them together so it doesn't mess with the math of it all. The voters can comment which versions they like better and it keeps the podcast from going on forever in extra rounds of songs that at the core are the same and potentially messing with the math giving powerhouse songs an extra take. So its a non in the poll from me, don't give them extra rounds, but yes as in talk about them and count the english songs the same as their French versions.
