guys how come most of the time u post threads about hings u would like alizee to do or change about her instead of only accepting who and how she is
 and have u ever thought that if she made those covers u talk about it wouldnt be lilliy's music we'd listen anymore she would turn like that women that almost all of her music are covers of other people's songs (i think her name is kate ryan) and remember what u said when she ella elle l'a??? u said she wasnt original and didnt have music of her own that she only sang other people's exits . now wouldn't it be hypocrisy to wish alizee would do cover songs?

She wouldn't be covering it if she did it at least once in a while. Look at Led Zeppelin, the band took a lot of old songs, and made them with their own style, and most of those songs are now related to the Zep.
I would love Alizée to do a cover of something people normally don't expect, this will be a way to impress them, perhaps draw new fans, and hey, a lot of people here can say her cover of La Isla Bonita in 2003 was the start of being a fan of her music. It's not that we don't accept who she is, we do indefinitely, but to perform music, is to do what you love, and if you'd love that one time to sing one song that you or she particularly likes, then that is music in its own right. We're not asking her to completely go to singing covers all the time instead of writing original stuff, but to see another artist's rendition of a song we particularly love would be the greatest thing in the world for certain people, and perhaps for the others, a change of season. The Kate Ryan's Ella Elle L'a thread was sort of pointless, considering that it wasn't Alizée's song to begin with, and that it should've been the KATE RYAN HAS CHALLENGED OUR FRANCE GALL thread. Now, I go with what I said. Alizée MUST DO: Under a Glass Moon - Dream Theater She'll impress thousands with this, but she probably doesn't know it exists.

I don't get exposed to mainstream music very much so it took me awhile to find a song with lyrics that sounded brilliant....but I got one, and its a beauty.
Natasha Bedingfield - Pocketful Of Sunshine The only issue I see is that Alizée doesn't use as much vocal energy and loudness (need the technical term for this) in her music. Natasha really gets after this song and thats what makes it great. I'd love to see Alizée up there just throwing her heart and voice into this one and being spent after the performance.
