No more HTML. If you just post the video URL it will be embedded automatically.

Like this:
Code:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i34BJu45FWg
becomes this:

I already complained about that in this thread, then I think we all got distracted and never changed anything.

Oo what do you mean by malicious? Who would want to do harm to our board?

Well, the chance is small, but there are always malicious people out there who would try to do stuff like this. I've seen it happen way too many times. Mostly skiddies have an interest in these kind of boards. Now, for example, when scruffy asked people to post for an autograph request, alot of new members registered and posted in that threat. If I were malicious, I'd do the same thing, and I would have access within 1/2 days. Though I doubt it happened, it is still a possibility. And as I said before, it is better to prevent than to cure. These security measures are normal, but allowing html is actually very uncommon. I'm not saying I don't trust any of the members on this board, but you can never be one hundred percent sure (i.e. members get in a fight, one decides to inject malicious code etcetera...)

Also, I don't want to be "the boogyman" to any of you guys, but the reactions coming from these countermeasures are normal, because when something changes, people are going to notice. I have yet to see a valid argument for enabling html again.
