Probably because that's when she was highly popular and hasn't been very active since (except for a fair number of performances in 2007/8).

That's because I prefer her older songs to her newer songs. But as far as her latest pictures, I think they are just as beautiful as her older pictures, so I would think they'd would use more recent ones.

The last song to chart there was A Contre-Courant (19th spot, in 2003), so a photo from that era makes sense. More recognizable to the public.

I have a feeling they will see and like the grown up image once on stage. There hasn't been any promotion there, until now ..... it's a good move. It's almost like a bait and switch. Here is the Alizée you all knew and loved, here is the Alizée today. Surprise!
