Le Adventures of Elloise in Paris !

Elloise's Father drove her into town ; because she was going to her Grand-Mere to celebrate her Birthday !
Her father had gotten laid off; so her mother had to work to support the family !
Her Grand-Mere, however was somewhat rich having married about 4 rich husbands, who had somehow all died in action, one on a sinking yacht, another hunting lions in africa, another caved in an Egyption Pyramid, and the last electrocuted on a sound stage !
Her father brought her to the Grand-Mere's door and it was opened by Lurch who was Grand-Mere's Butler and Chauffer ! When she was younger Elloise had been scared to death of Lurch; because, truth be told, he did look somewhat like lurch of the adamases or Frankenstein in the movies ! But she eventually learned that Lurch was a nice guy and Grand-Mere liked him, because nobody got past him into the house she didn't want!
Her father however, was still somewhat scared of Lurch and it amused Lurch to keep him so ! Yes ? He said to Elloise's father ? It's Elloise to see her Grand-Mere, her father said. Oh Yes, Lurch said This way and led them up the Grand staircase to Grand-Mere's sitting room. Elliose ran to her Grand-Mere whom she loved to hug her; as her Grand-Mere Loved her, too !
Hello Grand-Mere her father Lolly said. Oh, Hello, Grand-Mere said. Today is Elloise's Birthday so I am going to have her party here. we will have the party about 1 pm and so you can come back for that ? Oh, I have to do some things in town; so I will pick her up later said her father. Very well, I intend to keep her all day so comeback for her about 7:30 PM after dinner !
Yes said Lolly, her father. Here's 300 Francs for you and 300 Francs for your wife ! See that you give it to her and don't spend the other all in one place or casino ! No of course not said her father Lolly. I will see you later Elloise. Goodbye Daddy, said Elloise !
Lurch led her father back downstairs, but kinda acted like it was an imposition. Ha ! Thank you Lurch , see you later. Lurch kinda growled low at this under his breath and Elloise's father took off !

Elloise's Grand-Mere told her I will give you one of your Presents Early ! Goodie ! said Elloise ! The Grand-Mere got a Doll out of one of her Chests. It is called "The Mark" as it is an Antique Dolly and I have actually got the first one made from the mold as it is marked No 1 ! Oh ! said Elloise. You cannot play rough with it as it is a Ceramic Head and might break; therefore the Head is the most expensive part ! It is not a plastic doll so it has Ceramic Hands and Feet ! I will give you a Doll Carrier ; so you can carry her with you always and never let anybody else have her ; as she cost me 10,000 Francs ! Oueh ! said Elloise. You must keep her with you always and go to bed with her !
Some Roofers were fixing the Grand-Mere's roof and she didn't realize that they were spying on her from one of the holes in the roof as she talked with Elloise. Then Grand-Mere opened another box and got out some White sparkly stones and pulled the Dolly's head back and proceeded to fill up the Dolly's Body with the stones ! The Dolls are held together tightly with Cord and Hangers, so it is possible to hold them open if you apply enough pressure.
But what are the stones asked Elloise ? They are not important now, but someday when you are a Biggee Girl and you need some money ; you can pull the Dollee open and take out some of the Stones and sell them, as they will be extremely valuable ; as they are Diamonds ! You must never let anyone have your doll or tell them it contains Diamonds ! I wont said Elloise.
See if you can put the doll carrier on and carry the Doll !
I can said Elloise, just like the women carry a Baby !
Then the Grand-Mere rang for Lurch and he came and she told him; now Cato can bring in our Breakfasts, Lurch ! He said Yes, Madam as he bowed to her and Elloise. And Elloise dismissed him, too , by saying Lurch ! As if she was a Duchess or a Countess ! Lurch pretended to growl under his breath, but he was just being amusing !
Then Cato; the Grand-Mere's inscrutable Chinese Chef, came in with their tray of Breakfasts and they were having Scrambled Eggs and Sausages, like one of Grand-Mere's american husbands used to eat. And then they also had buttered toast and Jellies and Cinnamon Buns with Butter. And two Pots of English Tea with sugar and milk. An altogether Feast for Breakfast !
And Cato, the Chef, knew Buijutsu ( which is all the martial arts of China and Japan), and so he was sort of the Grand-Mere's Bodyguard !
And he used to tease Elloise by offering her a Hershey Chocalate bar, but when she went to pick it out of his hand, he would whisk it away, and so she could never get it ! But finally he would give it to her !

Now at one time Lurch was basically unemployed and had to subsist on handouts and begging on the street and used an employment agency when he could afford to pay them. But they despaired of getting him employment because actually he did kind of look like Frankenstein !
So the Grand-Mere had sent to the employment office for a Butler/Chauffer who was honest, because the last one had stolen from here ! And so they shined up Lurch carefully as best they could and got him a new suit from the Goodwill and sent him out to the old lady. Cato answered the door and almost did a double take; but then showed him up to the old lady !
She asked him are you honest ? I won't employ thieves ! He said he had always been honest ! Can you drive a car ? A Rolls Royce ? Yes I have a License ! Then you are hired for a period of Trial; until I say you are permanent ! And so Lurch got hired !
Now Cato; in addition to his talents in Buijutsu had actually taken training as a French Chef in Paris; so he was excellent as a Chef. But the restaurants for some reason always used him as an assistant Chef, which he didn't like; so he was always looking for a position which appreciated his talents; so the old lady had sent to the Chef school for recommendations for a Chef; as she didn't like her old Chef; and so Cato got hired as the Grand-Mere's chef in basically the same way !
Now the Grand-Mere's House was actually a tremendous sized house with four floors and an attic with many rooms; sort of like a Taylor Swift house would be ! And so the Grand-Mere had Lurch and Cato live with her in the house; so nobody messed with the Grand-Mere because they would run into Lurch or Cato ! And they each had a suite of rooms and so they had to pay no rent and she even paid for their phones and computers as she wanted hers separate ! And they each had generous salaries; and so you see, they had the best jobs in Paris and France and possibly in all of the EU ! All they had to do was keep the Grand-Mere happy !

The Grand-Mere had ordered a Special Cake for Elloise's Birthday; as good as a multi-layered wedding cake almost. So she told Elloise she could go in town with Lurch in the Rolls Royce and pick it up ! Neato ! said Elloise; Lurch will be my Chauffer ! So they drove into town to the large Bakery store and Lurch let Elloise off; as there was no immediate place to park; so he had to drive up the block to a garage. He told her wait for me and I will go in with you !
However the two Roofers; who had seen Grand-Mere put the Diamonds in the doll had followed them ! And so they accosted Elloise and said Let us Buy your Dolly ! we will give you 100 Francs ! But elloise said NO; It is my Dolly !
Then they said 300 Francs ! It is a fortune for you; But Elloise said The Dolly is Not for Sale ! Finally they said we will give you 1,000 Francs for the Dolly; But Elloise said NO ! Then they grabbed Elloise and said Give us that Doll or we'll turn you over and spank your senseless !
But elloise kicked them in the shins and ran ! They chased her down the walkway and as she ran she yelled help! Help ! And some other men stopped the Roofers and told them stop chasing the girl !
Elloise ran down near the Seine and the men looked up and down for her, but couldn't find her as she hid mear the Seine. One man came down and looked for her all over. Seeing her chance she ran out and knocked him into the river ! Help, Help he yelled , I cannot swim ! Just them a Gendarme came down and she told him the man tried to steal her Dolly and threatened to spank her for it, so she bumped him into the river !.
So the Gendarme arrested the man and called the Paddy wagon for him; for chasing a little girl; What are you a pervert or something ? Why can't you buy your own doll at the Toy Store ?
So Elloise got away from that guy and tried to go back to the Bakery; but the other man saw her and tried to catch her to get the Dolly. She ran away and went into a new restaurant under a building they were building; which had signs all over under construction, no trespassing !
But the man was still after her; so she ran in the back where there was an elevator and took it to the second floor still under construction ! She tried to hide, but the man came up in the elevator behind her !
Elloise crawled out on a board too get away from him; but he followed her and crawled out after her !
Give me that Doll or I'll spank your panties he said ! NO, said Elloise !
Elloise had to get away so she found a place where she could swing down onto another board and crawl back in. He tried to catch her on the other board but she got away. Then she went and stood on his board and started to jump up and down on it; so that it bounced in the air.
Don't do that I'll fall he said ! But she still jumped up and down and then he slipped and fell two stories.
Elloise went to the side to see him hit ! But luckily for him a New Restaurant was opening below; before the building was completed and so he fell into their Awning over their street tables and that broke his fall until he hit one of their tables and dazed himself !
The restaurant was La Belle Aurore and the manager was mad the man messed their awning up and broke a table , so he called another Gendarme. elloise told the man was Chasing her to steal her Dolly and threatened to spank her panties for it.
So the Gendarme arrested him, too for destruction of Property, Tresspassing on the Buildins , as well as chasing Elloise around and trying to steal her Dolly ! what are you he asked him some kind of Pervert ? Chasing a little girl around ? Elloise said Yes, He is a Preverte !
And so the Gendarmes took that man away , also !
Finally Elloise made it back to the Bakery; where Lurch asked her , where have you been ? Those men chased me for my Dolly, as they saw the Gendarmes take them away. How strange, said Lurch, they are Madames Roofers ? So finall thy got the Cake and wheeled it ou and Lurch brought the rolls Royce around and the Bakers loaded it an the back seat snd so off they went back to the Grand-Mere's House !
Along the way Elloise asked Lurch What's a Prevert, the Gendarme called the men ? But he told her Pervert is the word you are looking for; but I will have to tell you about it next year or so !
Elloise said Another word I can't know about till next year ? That's right, said Lurch !

Just wanted to pop in and say I'm enjoying this story!

It happened that Lurch had to go to some appointment and so Cato was doing double-duty as the Grand-Mere's Butler and Doorman. The Bell rang and Cato answered the door; but the didn't like the guy he saw.
He said I have to see the Madame of the house on urgent business of a debt that must be repaid !
Now, ordinarily, Cato would take him upstairs to the Grand-Mere; however he was getting all the wrong vibes from the man. The man had magnetic, hypnotic eyes and the smile of a shark and a menacing attitude of self-confidence. So Cato told him the Madame was indisposed lately and wasn't seeing anybody !
He said that this was a matter of a loan which had been made to one of the Madam's husbands and his employers were wanting to be repaid !
You will have to leave your Card and a note of the transaction and I will see that the Madame gets them.
The man insolently suggested that he could break the door down to see her ! But Cato said; I Live here, too ! And I am the Madame's Bodyguard and if you break into the House , I will Kill You !
The man contemplated Cato; as if judging his abilities and told him I do this for a Living and have killed 5 men who opposed me ! Then Cato said I Live to Do It ! How many men have you killed; asked the man ? I do not Brag said Cato !
So the man left his card and slip of paper of the loan transaction in the mail slot of the storm door. He told Cato her husband got a loan of 500,000 Francs from us for something and we desire repayment, even if the husband is deceased. I will return in 10 days.
Cato said if the Loan is the truth , then Madame will write you a Check ! But the man said, Oh ! I forgot to say no Checks or Drafts; as we do not like the governments perusal of our affairs ! Madame will have to repay us in Cash !
Later, when Lurch came back, Cato assembled everyone and told them an oriental man who was "menacing" might come to the door, but they were not to let him in as I am sure he is a criminal !

Cato was beyond an expert in Buijutsu and had competed professionally.
And it happened that the Madame had said she was tired and had retired early and so the servants had retired to the servants quarters where there was a living room and a servant's Kitchen.
And Emily and Jane, the Maids, said they were preparing Steaks and Dinner for everybody!
But Cato had said; I am the Chef, shouldn't I make the steaks and Dinner ? But Emily said No; I am making the Steaks ! and off she and Jane went to the Kitchen part ! Lurch kinda laughed and said Cato should know not to argue with a woman ! Ha !
But in preparing them; Jane had forgotten to ask how they wanted their Steaks So she called to them from the kitchen. But the TV was on , so the boys couldn't hear her , so Cato started into the Kitchen to see what she wanted; but at the same time Emily was coming into the living room !
But Emily was rushing with the Steak Knife in her right hand and she tripped up the two steps from the kitchen and so she was falling with the large Steak Knife aimed at Cato's stomach !
Now this is a "Think Fast" situation as you might say !
Cato could retreat; but then Emily might fall on the knife and stab herself ! So Cato had to Engage ! His mind went from 0 to 60 mph automatically and he went into Buijutsu mode as you might say !
Time slowed down for Cato and he moved in between the seconds of the clock as it were ! His left hand was useless as it might be stabbed or cut by the knife. And so Cato stepped slight to the right to half evade the knife. Then Cato reached in with his right hand and grasped Emily's right wrist and turned the knife to the right away from both of their bodies and then he moved to stop Emily's fall with his body by putting his right leg and hip and Shoulder against Emily , so it broke her Fall! And he caught her with his now free Left hand !
Oh ! She said, I'm Sorry ! Cato said No harm, No Foul ! But please do not run with knife any more !

[ The reason I can describe this so good is because it actually happend to me with my girlfriend, we were celebrating me getting out of the service and she was cooking me a steak ! Wow ! She said ; You move really fast ! I generally do when I have a knife coming at me ! I know some Buijustsu; enough to get by ! ]

The Maids Emily and Jane had set up all of the refreshments in one of the Grand-Mere's many rooms upstairs and so all of Elloise's guests were sent up; either by Lurch or Cato ! Except that some kids were really scared of Lurch; as he said "This way" and led them upstairs.
At some Point Grand-Mere realized that she had overspent on Cake and Ice Cream and Pizza and so she told Elloise to go downstairs and tie Balloons on the front gate and out a sign reading "Elloise's Birthday Party" and "All Kids are Invited " ! and so all the kids from the neighborhood got to go to the party also !
And after Elloise opened a lot of her presents from the Grand-Mere and others; they alll had th cake and Ice Cream and Pizza !
Then the Grand-Mere started her record player and all the kids were shown how to dance the dances by Emily and Jane. And so all of the kids were doing the Tango; as Emily and Lurch showed them how ! Except with Lurch; emily's feet sometimes left the ground as he kinds threw her back and forth. Not so hard, Lurch she said !
And Jane said you have to Tango also Cato ! But Cato said Cato does not Dance ? ! But Jane said what with your Budo; you can't dance ?, Don't be ridiculous ! And so Cato was shown the Tango and actually he was quite good as you might expect as a person knowing Buijutsu !
And a boy got fresh with Elloise, as he was kissing her hand, then her arm and finally her cheek; but she told him to stop with the Kissee stuff or I'll Deck You !
Finally the party ended and all the kids went home with party favors from the Grand-Mere which were Upside-down dolls for the girls and cowboy pistols and holsters for the boys !
Now an Upside-Down doll in case you never seen one is actually two dolls in one ; with an upper and a lower doll and you can play with either one up; as they have no bottoms; but each have a head and a different dress on !
Elloise got one before as she had to go to school for show and tell; but unfortunately she got the letter "U", so usually that poor kid took an Umbrella to school for it; but the Grand-Mere got her the Upside-Down doll to take for "U" and so she was the Hit of the class and all the girls wanted one !
And Elloise was so tired after the party; that the Grand-Mere had to call her mother and ask here to let Elloise stay over for the night; which she did as they liked the Grand-Mere. So Elloise had her own Bedroom at the Grand-Mere's in addition to her bedroom at home; so she had it made ! In addition she could get anything from the kitchen of she wanted it from the maids Emily and Jane and brought up by Lurch or Cato; so staying over was Gravy for Elloise !
[ author's note: My mother collected dolls; and so over the years I learned a lot about antique dolls and others by osmosis. I do not play with dolls; although I did keep one of Napoleon in Uniform, because, after all, it is Napoleon ! Ha ! ]

The Grand-mere investigated her 3rd husband's papers and found he had got a 500,000 Franc loan from somebody and so he had paid off his Diggers at a Tomb in Egypt.
He was excited because he had thought he had found another Tutankhamen !
And so the Grand-Mere thought that he had actually encured the Debt !.
And so Lurch and Cato went around with her to several Banks in France and accumulated the 500,000 in cash; as the visitor had demanded.
She had recovered 250,000 Francs from a Bank in Egypt; as he had not spent it all when a cave-in at the site killed him; and so she would really only be out half of it.
They put the Cash in a Valoise canvas travel bag for the man.
Cato did not want the man in the house; so they set out a small table and chair in case the man wanted to count it !
He set it on the table and opened it to peruse the Cash and thumbed a couple of the wads of Bills ! Then he closed it.
Aren't you going to Count it ? said Cato.
No; he laughed, I Trust You ! People who Cheat my employers live to regret it !
Ans so he started to leave.
What if you get robbed here ? Cato said after him ? My Friends he said are waiting for me in a car and Nobody would dare to Rob Us !
And so the situation was concluded !

The man came back and Lurch saw him; but told Cato, the Criminal is back !
Cato saw him and asked him what do you want ?
Your payment was short 150,000 Francs ! That is not so, said Cato. Madame counted it , Lurch counted it, and I counted it. It was all there !
someone in your organization must have taken it.
I want to see Madame for her to pay me !
She is not going to see you; you will have to deal with me, as I am her Bodyguard !
I will go through you if I have to, said the man !
Let us go into the back garden to resolve this said Cato as he led him around.
I'll kill you if I have to said the criminal !
I think I should warn you; I am the World Champion in Buijutsu; said Cato !
I know the world champion's name and it is not Cato !
I fight under a Nickname my parents called me, when I was winning all of my Bouts, said Cato. I fought under the name of Musashi ( the greatest swordsman in history ) !
So you are Musashi ? said the man. Still I can kill you !
I don't think so; leave now and stop this con and you will Live !
So the man charged Cato and rained blows upon him; but none of them landed !
Finally Musashi knocked him down. You still have the chance to leave and save your life !
But the man threw himself at Cato and tried every trick he knew to hit Musashi; but he could not !
Again Musashi knocked him down;after blodying his face.
Leave now; said Musashi, I can already tell you, you cannot beat me !
But the man charged Cato again and manged to get a head lock; but Musashi broke it; the man threw a punch at Cato's head; but then Musashi rained blows upon the man's chest which staggered him !
He fell backwards into a lawn chair.
What have you hit me with, said the man ?
It is called the Blossom of Death said Musashi. Your ribs are broken and your heart is smashed !
How long have I got , asked the Criminal ? You are in good shape, so 10 minutes, said Musashi !
They called the police for the death and Inspector Rosseau of the Sirte National investigated. so they determined it was self defence and Madame told them her lawyer's would defend Cato, so they closed the investigation!
