It was not unexpected. Whenever En Concert is mentioned, the video and her amazing performance comes to our mind. It's easy to forget about the CD then.

It's funny because when I listen to the En Concert audio, I can picture her moving around and I even remember almost every expression on her face as she's singing certain parts. I don't think I've even seen the En Concert performance THAT many times and yet it left such an impression on me that I remember most of the details. Cute little pink shirt in Youpidoo...the way she pouts as she's doing the Moi...Lolita encore where she encourages the fans to join in, etc.

I think I can write a book about all the things I love about her. I'm ridiculous.

A book? Lol that's pathetic! I could easily write a series about her, far longer than all the encyclopedias on Earth. Plus every copy of Lolita. And all the other books out there. And all the ones that were burned in the 1600's. And multiply that by 10 to the infinith power. My book would be 10 to the infinith power times that size.

I've always loved the En Concert Version of Toc de Mac, shes so cute when shes spinning around... ^_^

I love Moi...Lolita when she starts talking to the crowd. Her voice sounds so beautiful, I litaerly start to cry.

I've always liked the En Concert version of L'Alizé a lot more than the album version, and I voted for it because of that. I think it's because her voice isn't edited anywhere near as much as in the CD and the instrumental isn't as loud. I think the album version is a little overproduced and the live track is a lot better.

I've come to love the J'en Ai Marre version in En Concert.

It's a lot different then the studio version, but better, in some aspects, in my opinion.

I really think, of all songs that improve over the studio version, "Hey Amigo" probably does the most for me. The beat is a little different, more of a 16th based beat, and it just glides just wonderfully and danceably along. And Loic's drum fill at about 3:27 into the song is just one of the most kickass things I've ever heard (the man is a genius! He and Fifi the bass player are what makes the album rock so hard, I think)
