anti-spam idea

I'm a mod on another relatively small forum (about the size of this one) and the "first post" mod queue (no one sees it but mods) coupled to a spam detection system, seems to work nicely.

In fact, I PREFER spammers be allowed to post a NEW thread as it makes it much easier to bulk flag and delete them. I only spend a few moments a day. About 99% of the time I can tell it's spam by the subject, click click click...delete all. Works like a charm. And the forum users never new it was there.

yeah but we really dont need that now that brad has a picture confirmation before anyone registers on the site. he's had that for a while now.
