I'm gonna say Leighton Meester. Super pretty, great voice, but she's more known for her role in Gossip Girl than her singing abilities. Her music is good, but not very popular.

But Leighton has never been well known for singing to begin with.

I think Alizee's more like Debbie (Deborah) Gibson. Very popular as a teen. Still has a great voice. Still well-known to hardcore music fans. But, not as popular as she once was.

LOL! I was tempted to say that. However, Britney's lifestyle is waaaaay different than Alizee's. For me it's more like Debbie who was pretty clean until she decided to pose nude in Playboy in 2005. Plus, Britney has some kind of a resurgence with her last 2 albums.
