So, even though I'm sending the burned-DVDs back, of course I had to watch them before I did that. And let me say, those of you watching the Google video owe it to yourselves to buy this. First of all, the sound quality is light years better than the Google rip. There's really no comparison. I actually thought Alizée sounded kind of bad in the Google version...and I couldn't understand why, since she sounds so good in the live clips Brad has posted here. But it's not Alizée, of course...it's the rip. So if you want to hear her sing well, watch the actual DVD.

Second, and more obvious...Alizée is a few feet tall on my TV. On the Google rip, she's about an inch tall. There's a BIG difference.

Trust me. Everyone owes it to themselves to get this DVD!

i orderd from amazon france...its almost the same...
if you have an account in the english one...it will work there...the address and paying method...but i knew lil french that helped me around the site

It plays on my Apex player but not on my Sony one, go figure. My Apex plays some other DVD's that I bought from Paris.

Apex is one of the DVD players that I like to call import-friendly. Most of them are region-free, can do PAL-to-NTSC conversion and are also capable of playing DivX/XviD files. Some other ones that can do the same are Philips DVP642 and Pioneer DV-588A-S (the one I have).

I also know of this site (http://www.videohelp.com) that has a great section on DVD players listing capabilities of each and also reviews and opinions of people who own and/or use them. If you are in the market for a new DVD player, this site is a great place to do your research.

Same here. The english version of amazon shows the cover as DVD, but lists it as CD. I don't know if they are just using the DVD cover, or if in the translation CD means DVD. I have her two CD's coming from Best Buy which should be here any day.

If you don't have a PAL TV or DVD player, you can watch it on just about any DVD-ROM equipped computer. All of my copies only took about a week to arrive from amazon.fr as well. IMO, that's the best way to get it.
