Was anyone from N. America able to play the DVD?

I received the limited edition Alizée CD and tried to play the DVD but my player could not read it.
Does anyone know what actually is on that DVD, please?

it's because it's a "zone 2" DVD and your dvd player is a "zone 1", you gotta switch it to "all zones" to watch the dvd

I've not opened up my LE CD yet, I'm holding off to get a 2nd one first.

However, like Lilifan788 stated, try playing on your computer first if it has a DVD player.

Alternatively, you can try hacking your DVD player to make it region free. For me it was a matter of pushing a sequence of buttons on the remote. You may find the following sites helpful in this matter:

*Note: Perform at your own risk and if you brick your DVD player don't sue me. Mine was a sub-$100 DVD player from Walmart so I wasn't concerned.

I ordered off ebay the Deluxe DVD-CD , Alizee In Concert from a seller in Mexico. it plays fine on all my DVD players.

No, there's another problem: the DVD is probably PAL format, which won't play on most American DVD players.

It will definitely play on your computer if you have a DVD drive, and you can get DVD players capable of playing PAL discs.

Actually, the cheaper the player, the more likely it is to have an "NTSC/PAL" converter. All of mine do. Check the websites above and the setup menu of your player to see.

or, if you have an xbox 360, which im sure more than half the people on the boards do, you can just use that.
